A Painting for Precious Olivia

So here is an update on the painting I referred to in the last post. I still have quite a bit to do to it, but I just wanted to get some opinions. Do the red (primary red) and the sage-colored green look alright together? I never usually have this problem with colors. I can't seem to tell if they match. I also needed the red to be red enough to be for ladybugs that will be added later, but not too electric. Olive branches will come from the lower left and upper right as well. I think I will do some black dots around the edge that isn't seen when looking directly from the front. There are (2) 6x6's that will go along with this, but I haven't gotten much done on those-I need more red. So, tell me what 'cha think??

For some reason the red seems a little pink in my picture? I like the two colors together but it doesn't seem the red is a deep enough red? Could be my monitor here too. I will look again when I get home to my wonderful monitor I have there. it will give me the true colors.

I like the colors together. Perhaps adding the black dots to the sides will tone down that red? The front is looking really good, to me! I love the way you wrote her name, too!!!!

I think it's looking great!
I need you to do something for me, but I don't know what yet. We're remodeling our house and I've decided to take everything off the walls and start over. I'm not getting rid of everything, just arranging it better. So once I find the perfect empty spot, I'll let you know what I would like! LOL
I kind of wanted to do earth tones in my living room and kitchen. I like the picture you showed in your last post.

Ok I'm home and it does look redder on this monitor. I do love the writing and the green. Can't wait to see the finished product.
