Here is my husband and I at Faithful Strokes for Valentine's Day. We did this fun side-by-side painting and had a great time! He did awesome!
Being an artist was one of my childhood dreams. To draw, design and to glorify Christ is now my passion. I am the artist, Melissa Jackson, and while I specialize in lettering & matching nursery/child bedding, I can custom design almost anything you can dream up on canvas, wood, glass, fondant, or wall! Art is great for any room of your home or as a unique gift. I have also enjoyed painting many murals. God has blessed me and I would love to pass that on to you!

Manners and Masterpieces
This pic is from a winter camp hosted at Faithful Strokes by Leslie Denney of Shine Etiquette. I taught this fun penguin to these 8 lovely little ladies. They offer all kinds of great classes for kids there!
Love/Spring is in the Air at Faithful Strokes
Here are a few pics from my Love/Spring is in the Air class at Faithful Strokes on Sunday, Feb 12th. This was the 6th time I taught a class, but the first time I was teaching a design of my own. It was originially designed with Valentine's Day in mind, but I created it two other color schemes, yellow or cream, so people could choose to adapt it for spring if they wanted. 19 people attended the class and we had a blast! Check it out!
Lovin' this Crazy Life!
Things have been so crazy here lately I haven't even posted in almost 3 months! I keep promising myself I will devote more time to my blog and all that I want to accomplish with it, but more time seems to pass between posts before I even realize it! I'm sure anyone who reads this probably has a lot going on too and understands! Thank God, though, that my husband's leg is healing after surgery on his torn ACL, Preston is doing great in preschool, and things are going great at Faithful Strokes (update post coming soon). So, here are a few paintings I have finished or am working on...
This one is for a wedding gift and will have 1 Corinthians verse, Love is patient, love is kind... in the middle.
Here is Kaidan finished...this went to a nurse that takes very good care of my aunt for her new baby.
