Being an artist was one of my childhood dreams. To draw, design and to glorify Christ is now my passion. I am the artist, Melissa Jackson, and while I specialize in lettering & matching nursery/child bedding, I can custom design almost anything you can dream up on canvas, wood, glass, fondant, or wall! Art is great for any room of your home or as a unique gift. I have also enjoyed painting many murals. God has blessed me and I would love to pass that on to you!

Working on some Inspiration
I have asked a few friends if I can use their childrens' names and room colors/designs to make some pieces. These are in the works. I have posted a few new pics on the website and took some others off. I have also added the names of the lines of work that are available. Their will eventually be a TRAVEL/TOTE line that will feature a canvas tote bag. Pricing is available now as well, but is not set in stone. Also, I am really waiting on Comcast to update their Webpages to send my link out to everyone hoping that the site will look a lot better, hold a lot more info, and let me showcase more in better ways. I am posting a pic of some pieces I am working on...

New Photos on Website
I have added pictures of all kinds of work I have done-lettering, drawings, on canvas, paper, and in all types of mediums from acrylic, watercolor, pencil, and pen. While these are primarily for example and to demonstrate the type of art that I can do, most of the pieces can be sold if they are wanted. Please call me 589-9521.

My new business, Initial Designs, is under construction and hopefully will be finished developing soon. I will keep posting any new information as soon as it becomes available. I am just feeling this out so if anyone has any questions, comments, concerns, feedback, etc...it is definitely welcome!
